We are starting a new program for patients with cancer. We are promoting physical health to return to activities and improve quality of life.

Mission: We are a vital role in the recovery process, and our mission is to return cancer survivors to activities and to improve quality of life. This will be achieved through several avenues including but not limited to:
- Skilled Physical, Occupational and Massage therapy
- Support from local retail companies including clothing, make-up, and hair
- Various types of return to activity programs including personal training, yoga
and pilates
- Monthly get togethers for fun group activities
- Going on retreats to experience other areas, states and countries!

It is very basic, but we are just launching the program. More info to come soon!

CPR Re-Certification

In Motion is sponsoring a CPR re-certification course Wednesday July 8th at 4pm. If you need to re-new your CPR, please call to come to the course. You must be either currently certified or your certification cannot be more than 6 months expired to come to this course.

Course will give you a 2 year certification through the American Heart Association.

Course is $35 per person.

Wii-Hab to Improve our Rehabilitation Programs

We have Wii-hab!

In an effort to keep our therapy routines from becoming tedious we have introduced a new fitness device to our facility: The Nintendo Wii! We look at the Wii Fit as a terrific tool to keep certain patients involved in their therapy and provide some measurable progress reports as we work through their rehabilitation program.

The Wii Fit comes with a balance board and an array of games and activities that help patients improve their balance, core strength and proprioception. Wii-hab (or Wiihabilitation) is a part of our game plan!
